The event drew over 300 domestic and foreign exhibitors, including a delegation from the Vietnam Electronics Industries Association (VEIA), and over 8,000 visitors. It served as a key platform for them to display products and solutions spanning electronics manufacturing, semiconductors, printed circuit boards, components, and equipment tailored to aerospace, defense, automotive, healthcare, industrial automation, railways, and telecommunications sectors.

The Vietnamese delegation engaged in factory tours, business-to-business matchmaking sessions, thematic panel discussions, and working meetings with Indian and global enterprises as well as industry associations.
A highlight came on January 29 during a discussion session where VEIA Vice Chairwoman and Secretary General Do Thi Thuy Huong represented Vietnam. She stressed that consistent product quality, strong execution capabilities, and proven manufacturing reliability remain the cornerstone for Vietnam’s electronics sector to scale up exports and secure enduring confidence from global buyers.
IEMI 2026 was viewed as a pivotal forum for connecting businesses, policymakers, and technology leaders across the electronics and semiconductor value chains, strengthening cooperation between Vietnam and India while underscoring Vietnam’s growing stature in the global and regional electronics manufacturing landscape.
In close collaboration with VEIA, Commercial Counsellor Bui Trung Thuong from the Vietnamese Embassy in India facilitated trade linkages, delivered market information and regulatory insights on the Indian market, and matched Vietnamese companies with appropriate local and foreign partners.
