Mitsui Sumitomo Vietnam, a subsidiary of the Japanese Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group (MSIG) has recently inaugeratedits business in Vietnam.
In 1995 MISG set up a representative office in Vietnam and it founded a joint venture with 2 Vietnamese partners in 2007.
The recent birth of Mitsui Sumitomo Vietnam has marked its business expansion in Vietnam. The company will also become the first Japanese 100-per-cent-capital life insurance firm in Vietnam.
The President and CEO of MSIG said, “We are proud to begin our business in Vietnam, a country with fast economic growth and located in the center of the Mekong sub-region. We hope that we will bring further safety and security for the Vietnamese people, access more partners, and boost investment with which we could contribute more to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.”
He also affirmed that MSIG would fulfill its corporate duties for the local society and be active in environmental protection and preservation.
With its headquarters in Hanoi and a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City, Mitsui Sumitomo Vietnam will provide various forms of insurance services for businesses and people.
