Key exports includes agricultural products, textiles and garments, footwear and leather goods, computers and electronics, machinery and spare parts, glassware, transport vehicles, phones and ceramics, as well as wood and wooden products. Major markets are the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the United States, the European Union and China.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen The Hiep, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, said that despite strong growth, businesses must look beyond traditional markets such as ASEAN, the U.S., the E.U., China and Japan by diversifying destinations to sustain export momentum. He stressed that the fair offers a valuable opportunity for firms to connect with partners, importers, distributors and commercial counsellors.
