The group of 18 German businesses, specializing in various industries, are surveying the Vietnamese market and seeking business opportunities in Vietnam, said Economic Minister of the German state of Hamburg Axel Gedaschko.

The German top economic official released the information on June 1st in Ho Chi Minh City, during his heading a German delegation visiting Vietnam.

He said education, seaport infrastructure, and the navigation industry are the main areas German businesses are interested in.

Also on June 1st, the minister witnessed the signing of a contract on the foundation of a Germany-Vietnam Business College in Vietnam between Information Technology College (ICT), Ho Chi Minh City and the KWB Coordination Office for further training and employment, Hamburg.

The new college will provide business management courses with credits of the European standards of EBC*L.

The German delegation of businesses is expected to sign other contracts and memorandums of understanding with Vietnamese partners during their visit to Vietnam.
