Viettel remains the preferred mobile provider
PANO – By late May, a total of 424,455 subscribers have successfully switched between the major mobile operators of Viettel, VinaPhone and MobiFone without changing their numbers via the mobile number portability (MNP) service.
Of the three telecommunications giants, the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) recorded the highest rate of subscribers switching to Viettel.
The information was announced by a representative of the Telecommunications Authority (VNTA) under the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications at a conference to review the six-month implementation of MNP service.
Viettel remained the most preferred mobile provider among the three major telecommunications companies with the largest number of subscribers registering to its services. In the last four months, the military business has a successful switching rate of 80%.
More significantly, during the period Viettel has the lowest rate of customer complaints among the three major mobile service providers in Vietnam. The company has also impressed its customers with its ability to handle complaints quickly.
Having completed the switching, Viettel and other telecommunications businesses will further raise their responsibility and provide the best services to their customers.
Realizing the instructions of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, in the coming time, telecommunications businesses will update figures relating network switching on their websites while promoting information dissemination on the press and media.
