Viettel IDC provides largest cloud service in Vietnam
PANO – The Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) has announced on February 17 that its subordinate Viettel IDC has accounted for a 30% of the marketshare in cloud service, dominating Vietnam’s market.
According to a report of Nomura Research (the largest IT consulting company in Japan), Viettel IDC currently tops the Data Center marketshare in Vietnam, accounting for 40%.
Last year, Viettel IDC also made a big change in cloud-based services with the launch of seven more products, applying the most modern trending 4.0 technology, such as Dedicated Private Cloud, Virtual Private Cloud, Cloud AI and Cloud GPU.

They have brought the number of products within Viettel IDC’s cloud service ecosystem to 25 - the highest in Vietnam so far. In addition, Viettel IDC is also providing consultation and implements cloud infrastructure projects for many organizations and governmental agencies, contributing to accelerating digital transformation in the public administrative sector.
Also last year, the company won three more important international certificates for its Data Center infrastructure, including: TIA 942 Rated 3 - Facilities Constructed, energy management (ISO 50001 standard) and PCI DSS payment security. As a result, the company has totaled seven international certificates, top among Data Center suppliers in Vietnam.
This year, Viettel IDC sets a target of 30% turnover growth in general, while the cloud service still maintains a 100% increase. The company will switch from a network service provider (NOC - Network Operation Center) to a provider and solution consultant for digital transformation (SOC - Service Operation Center).
According to Hoang Van Ngoc, Director of Viettel IDC, the company’s staff has completely mastered the modern cloud platform.
