CEO Telecommunication of Umlaut Hakan Ekmen said according to figures, with a score of 886/1,000, Viettel has now become the top mobile network in Vietnam and among the top mobile networks in the world. The ratings were based on the results of a large-scale survey, in which questionnaires were sent to over 370 million users in Vietnam from June to the end of November 2020.
The method of evaluating users’ experiences (crowdsourcing) that the company is providing is a recent emerging trend, standardized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) according to the E.812 standard in May 2020.
It then gave an overview of mobile networks based on customer experiences when using voice and data services. The main criteria for evaluation were the coverage, speed, and delay of each network.
General Director of Viettel Network Corporation Dao Xuan Vu shared that over the past time, Viettel has tried its best to implement many solutions to expand its services, increase its capacities, optimize its network, and apply the latest technologies, such as VoLTE and Mimo 4x4. Meanwhile, they also analyzed big data to proactively optimize its services for customers.
