The signing ceremony took place in the framework of the 18th Defense Service Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA-2024) and the third International Exhibition on National Security for Asia (NATSEC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

UTL is one of the corporations experienced in and capable of doing research, producing and distributing products in terms of telecommunications in India. It makes up more than 60 per cent of the national transmission network share.

This contract proves the competitiveness of VHT’s products in India market which is big and highly competitive in the world. The contract also opens up new approach channel for VHT to expand its group of new customers and group of governmental customers through UTL’ current customer network.

UTL is doing business in over 60 countries all over the world, covering different fields, such as telecommunications, information technology, research and development (R&D), e-government. It also takes the lead in providing mobile services in India, in applying technological advances to creating e-government in India.

According to UTL President Raja Mohan Rao Potluri, the Indian market has huge demands for 5G Private solution and the company wishes to continue to be a leading business in bringing values to customers.

The UTL leader said that Viettel has a perfect solution for 5G connection. The task of UTL is connection, cooperation and trade promotion for its products.

At the signing ceremony, UTL and VHT discussed next steps following the contract in the context of developing new features for 5G Private solution.

VHT General Director Nguyen Vu Ha said that as a leading telecommunications device provider in Vietnam, VHT is capable of providing complete 5G solution, and carrying out big telecommunications projects. Mastering core technologies, VHT always stays ready to implement new international projects.

VHT will provide UTL with 5G Private networks in three months to help the Indian corporation to offer the service to its customers in India and neighboring countries in a timely manner.

In December 2023, Viettel handed over a complete 5G Private network to its Indian partner after five months since the signing of the contract. This network has been operated effectively, meeting the demand of businesses.
