Viettel ensures labor hygiene and safety
PANO - A delegation of the General Technical Department, the Ministry of National Defense's permanent agency for labor hygiene and safety, fire and explosion prevention, inspected the military-run telecom group Viettel for its labor hygiene and safety situation as well as its response to the first Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2017.

At the meeting, Viettel’s relevant units briefed the delegation on their task performance last year and in the first four months of 2017. Accordingly, the group’s leadership has actively implemented higher levels’ instructions, accelerated dissemination of legal documents and launched emulation movements to well ensure labor hygiene and safety.
In addition, the group provided training courses on labor hygiene and safety as well as health check-ups for dozens of thousands of employees.
During the visit, the delegation also checked the task performance of the group’s headquarters and the Telecommunications Company M1. These units well performed labor hygiene and safety for all workers by practical means such as providing regular health check-ups, carrying out environmental observation, and more.
At the end of the working session, the delegation pointed out several shortcomings and asked the group’s leadership to overcome them.
