Viettel Academy honored with Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit
PANO – Viettel Academy under the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) held a ceremony on March 26 to mark its 15th founding anniversary and receive the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit.

In his opening speech, Director of Viettel Academy Lieutenant Colonel Bui Quang Tuyen briefed delegates on the establishment and development of the academy over the past 15 years. Since its establishment, the academy has strongly developed and affirmed its important position in training human resources for Viettel’s development. The unit has organized training courses to equip its staff with essential skills and professional expertise to turn Viettel into a leading telecom business in Vietnam and a global economic group.
Speaking at the event, Viettel's Acting Chairman and General Director Major General Le Dang Dung acknowledged and congratulated the academy on its achievements. Emphasizing the significance of training, General Dung asked the academy to step up digital transformation and apply modern technologies to its training activities. Meanwhile, the academy’s trainees should take full advantage of free time and apply IT to their work to obtain more achievements.
At the event, General Dung handed over the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit to Viettel Academy. In addition, Director of the Department of Military School Management Lieutenant General Tran Huu Phuc handed over the General Staff’s Certificate of Merit to one group and five individuals of the unit.
On the occasion, two groups and 15 outstanding individuals were honored with Viettel’s Certificate of Merit.
