Troops donate blood for patient treatment
PANO - 200 cadres, youth members, staff from agencies, units, public organizations of the Central Military Hospital 108, and the Viettel Business Solutions Corporation have donated 150 units of blood at a recent blood donation drive themed “Voluntary blood donation for troops and civilians.”
The collected blood is for treatment for troops and people at the Central Military Hospital 108.
At the event, medical staff from the Central Military Hospital provided health check-ups and consultations to participants and helped them understand the benefits of donating blood.
Before the blood donation drive, the Blood Transfusion Department of the Central Military Hospital 108 had cooperated with public organizations of the Viettel Business Solutions Corporation to build a detailed plan for the event and promote information dissemination to help their staff embrace the significance of blood donation.
According to leaders of the Central Military Hospital 108, since the beginning of this year, the hospital has received more than 8,000 units of blood from troops, staff, and students from military and civilian agencies and units. The impressive results came from the hospital’s effective information dissemination and its close cooperation with other units.
