The third Vietnam Summit on foreign economic relations titled “A new path into a new world”, will be held on January 11, 2012 in Sheraton hotel, Hanoi.
According to the organisers, the conference that will draw some 200 international and domestic companies will consist of 8 sessions, including plenary ones.
During the sessions, Vietnamese governmental officials, economists and companies will focus their discussions on the status of Vietnam in Asia and the world, identifying Vietnam’s new path, the overview on Vietnamese economy and finance, availing of opportunities to develop Vietnam’s industries, dynamic population and responding to environmental challenges.
The Vietnamese Prime Minister is also expected to attend the conference and representatives of the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Investment and Planning, Trade and Industry, Finance, Transport, Education and Training, Agriculture and Rural Development and the State Bank will be there to provide the latest policies and answer questions from businesses.
In 2011, Vietnam held a similar conference in Ho Chi Minh City
