PANO – Factory X50 of Song Thu Cooperation under the General Department of Defence Industry on October 24th marked the 40th traditional day and received the second class National Protection Order.

Over the past 40 years of establishment and development, the factory’s cadres, non-commissioned officers, and staff have promoted its tradition and overcome difficulties to build the factory into a developed and prestigious one in the Central region, making contributions to defending the national sovereignty over sea and islands.

Apart from providing technical maintenance service, the factory has invested in upgrading modern technologies and equipment to build modern transport ships. As a result, its annual growth rate reaches 10%. In 2014, its turnover increased by 113.7% in comparison with that in 2010. Its cadres and staff’ lives have been dramatically improved.

For these results, the factory was honoured with the second class National Protection Order by the State.
