The defense leader made the request at a ceremony on December 25 to mark the 30th founding anniversary of the corporation (December 27, 1994 - 2024).
Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang sent a letter of commendation to the corporation.
In his speech, Senior Colonel Do Manh Kham, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of the Corporation, said that the company has been equipped with over 2,000 modern and multipurpose vehicles and equipment, applied cutting-edge technologies to production, and actively engaged in incident response activities, search and rescue operations. In addition, the whole corporation is put in state of industry mobilization. It has effectively dealt with contingencies, contributing to firmly safeguarding the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
Reportedly, the corporation has excellently met all targets and completed all assignments with higher results year-on-year. In 2005, after its ten years of operation, the company produced over 3 million tons of coal per year. Ten years later, its productivity reached 5 million tons and since 2021, its output has remained over 7 million tons per year. Last year, its turnover was VND 28.82 trillion.
Apart from coal production and business, the corporation has its brand name attached to projects on civil structures, sea ports, transport, helping boost socio-economic development. The corporation has confirmed its position among top military enterprises with the function of production.

Addressing the event, Gen. San asked the corporation to continue to embrace and effectively implement higher levels’ resolutions, directives and regulations on military building, defense consolidation, Fatherland protection combined with national socio-economic development. He requested it to concentrate on performing its functions and tasks as a unit of production with safety, innovation, efficiency, and development.
