Held from March 2 to 5 in Barcelona, MWC 2026 gathers tech leaders from over 200 countries. Under "The IQ Era" theme, Viettel showcased 24 end-to-end products developed entirely by its engineers.

Lieutenant General Tao Duc Thang, Viettel’s Chairman and General Director, stated that mastering technology is essential in the IQ Era. By participating, Viettel aims to display Vietnamese innovation while expanding global cooperation to build secure, intelligent digital infrastructure.

Viettel’s nine-year MWC presence marks its evolution into a global R&D power exporting to nearly 20 countries. As the sole Vietnamese exhibitor, Viettel underscored its "Make in Vietnam" global aspirations.

Viettel presented an ecosystem built on four pillars: Secure, Intelligent, Open, and Sustainable. Highlights included its 5G Open RAN, recognized by Gartner, alongside 5G Core, security chips, Viettel Cloud, and B2B solutions like Viettel Smart IP.

Viettel’s secure, flexible digital infrastructure and 5G portfolio highlight its leadership in the Open RAN trend, proving Vietnam’s ability to match global telecommunications advancements.

Beyond infrastructure, Viettel promotes a “Zero Trust Lifestyle” through AI-driven pro-active protection. Key solutions include the Tammi family platform, an AI-scoring Lending Platform, V-Shield anti-fraud protection, and the AI-powered Viettel Flagship Camera for traffic monitoring.

Future-facing innovations at the Intelligent Connect zone feature 5G NTN via LEO satellites, a low-altitude ecosystem (eVTOL and UAV), Robotic AI, Birdly VR, and the Xense AR platform. These technologies extend connectivity from the ground to outer space.

At MWC Barcelona 2026, Viettel will sign agreements with Qualcomm on 5G Advanced, 6G, and Agentic AI. The group also maintains partnerships with Cisco, Nokia, ZTE, Texas Instruments, Amdocs, and ByteDance to drive AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
