In three consecutive years (2015, 2016, and 2017), the company enjoyed the fast-growing rate in the number of subscribers compared to other telecoms companies in the country. This contributed to making up 30 percent of the country’s growth rate of telecoms subscribers in the 2014-2018 period, compared to an average growth rate of 6 percent of other regional countries.

After its two-year operation in Peru, Bitel could make profits while another telecoms investor in the country could not get any profit even after 10 years doing business in the country.
