According to Ho Sy Long, the plant’s Director, 10 per cent of the product will be used to produce Ethanol Fuel E5, and the remainder will be exported to ASEAN’s members, especially to the Philippines.

Construction of the plant was started in April, 2009, at a cost of over VND 2 trillion, to produce an annual output of 100 million litres. It is expected that the plant will be unveiled in May 2012.
