She affirmed that Vietnam has been actively and pro-actively promoting balanced and sustainable trade and investment cooperation with the U.S. on the basis of effectiveness, frankness, equality, mutual respect, and mutual benefit.

According to the spokesperson, negotiations between Vietnam and the U.S. concerning the U.S.'s reciprocal tariff policy on Vietnamese exports are being carried out and further details will be provided in due course.
