The tournament is scheduled to be held in Thailand from August 22 to September 7, 2025.
On the same day, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation replied to the FIVB’s invitation letter, affirming that Vietnam will join the competition and that they will create the most favorable conditions for the team to prepare for the event.
Over the past two years, the team has had a series of remarkable achievements. They won the AVC Challenger Cup and the Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship for the first time in 2023. They also took part in the FIVB Challenger Cup world tournament and the world women’s clubs tournament, and won the silver medal at SEA Games 32, while also achieving a fourth-place finish at the Asian Games and the Asian Championship. Meanwhile, they put up a spirited defense in the AVC Challenge Cup 2024 and finished second at the SEA V-League 2024’s two legs in early August.
