According to the report, last year, the emulation and reward councils of VJA’s chapters at all levels well performed their staff role for association’ leaders to develop programs and plans related to emulation and reward affairs.
Thanks to the amended emulation and reward regulations in 2018, journalists’ associations at all levels avoided rampant and not deserving rewards, and made remarkable changes in the awareness of the association’ cadres and members of the role and motivation of the emulation and reward affairs.
Especially, on April 22 this year, the emulation and reward council convened a meeting, during which participants ebulliently, objectively discussed, and assessed the collectives and individuals under all-level journalists’ associations for rewards. As a result, the council decided to present emulation flags to eight collectives, certificates of merit to 15 collectives and 17 individuals in recognition of their outstanding task performance and engagement in associations’ activities in 2021.
Among the awardees, the People’s Army Newspaper was honored to receive the VJA’s emulation flag. In addition, its staff, Senior Colonel Duong Thi Thuc Huong, member of the Executive Board of the People’s Army Newspaper’s association, a VJA chapter, was honored with the certificate of merit.
Also at the meeting, the VAJ worked out orientations for the emulation and reward affairs in 2022.
In particular, bringing into play achievements gained last year, VJA will continue to encourage its cadres and members to emulate to effectively realize resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress, and victoriously implement resolutions of the VJA’s 11th Congress in the 2020-2025 period.
Moreover, the standing board of the VJA and the VJA’s emulation and reward council will launch a new emulation movement under the motto “Solidarity - Discipline - Renovation - Creativity - Development” to make the realization of five major duties in the time to come effective.
