“Big Toe”, a famous hip-hop group in Vietnam, has become the champion at the R16 Southeast Asia Final and will compete at the World Final scheduled in July in the Republic of Korea.

The group has won many prizes at domestic competitions and taken part in several international competitions, but this is the first time that the group won such a big prize.

The R16 Southeast Asia Final took place on May 15th in Malaysia, with the participation of many famous regional dance groups such as In Rhythym (Indonesia), Laobangfai (Laos), 99 Flava (Thailand), Floor Techniques (Singapore), Wakaka Fever (Malaysia) and Giller Battle (Malaysia).

At the present, the group is training hard for the world final. “The coming contest is so important for us. We will compete with 15 other strong teams from all over the world,” said Viet Thanh, head of the group.

“All members of the group are trying to create new dances, which is considered to be impressive at the competition,” he added.

Big Toe was founded in November 1992 with only 7 dancers. Now, the group becomes Big Toe Company with hundreds of members.
