Non-Commissioned First Lieutenant Tran Ngoc Chau Anh, First Runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2024, meets Miss Cosmo 2025 Yolina Lindquist. |
During the meeting, Senior Colonel Ngo Anh Thu, PAN’s Deputy Editor-in-Chief, who chaired the event, introduced the two beauty queens to PAN’s more than 75-year tradition and history. He noted that the newspaper is one of Vietnam’s leading press agencies, with print editions widely circulated nationwide and an online platform available in Vietnamese and five foreign-language editions, namely English, Chinese, Lao, Khmer, and Russian. The newspaper’s mission is to disseminate information across all aspects of social life, with a particular focus on national defense and security. It adheres to a humane, objective, and truthful editorial philosophy, accompanying the development of the Vietnam People’s Army and the country as a whole.
Col. Thu emphasized that the Vietnam People’s Army is deeply loved and closely connected with the Vietnamese people, not only for its duties of training, combat readiness, and national defense, but also for its role in assisting civilians. “Whenever there are difficulties, the military is there. We take part in building major national projects, disaster prevention and response, search and rescue missions, and U.N. peacekeeping operations. The PAN is honored to be a key media agency that helps spread the noble values of Uncle Ho’s soldiers to the public, not only domestically but also internationally,” he shared.

On behalf of the Party Committee and Editorial Board of the PAN, Col. Notably, he also presented the two beauty queens with Southern Vietnamese scarves, a symbol of Vietnamese women’s resilience, steadfastness, loyalty, and diligence.
