Spring concert and ballet gala to take place in Hanoi
Artists and ballet dancers of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theatre will give two performances of outstanding international and Vietnamese works, at the Hanoi Opera House on February 25th and 26th.
Artists and ballet dancers of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theatre will give two performances of outstanding international and Vietnamese works, at the Hanoi Opera House on February 25th and 26th.
Famous pieces of music such as “Orpheus in the underworld” Overture by Offenbach, "Le Rossignol” for Piano by Glinka, “Voice of Spring” by Strauss and the Opera piece "La Traviata selection” by Verdi, will be performed by international artists and two Vietnamese artists, Manh Dung and Thanh Binh.
Besides, ballet dancers from the Hanoi Opera House will also perform a modern ballet, “Heart of silk”, telling a romantic love story through lanterns in Hoi An Ancient Town, by choreographer Pontus Lidberg from Denmark.
