Scientific seminar highlights Xam singing’s preservation in contemporary society
PANO – An international scientific seminar was held in Ninh Binh province on December 7 to discuss the preservation and promotion of Xam singing in contemporary society.
The program was held virtually by the Ninh Binh provincial People's Committee in collaboration with the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and the Center for Philosophy, Culture, and Society (Temple University, USA).

During the event, scientists inside and outside the country discussed and found solutions to preserve and promote the artistic values of Xam singing in contemporary society.
They focused on assessing and clarifying the formation and development process of Xam singing, its values as well as studies and applications of Xam singing in modern society, among others.
