One of the highlights of the festival is the participation of 20 artisans and 30 assistants in making a giant and flavorful pot of Pho. During the giant-Pho-pot making session, attendees, including locals and tourists, had an opportunity to listen to senior artisans recall stories of traditional Pho, observe the manual process of making Pho, and taste various types of Pho from the three regions of Vietnam. Additionally, the event serves 1,000 bowls of Pho to visiting guests.

The Pho Festival 2024 also includes activities such as honoring artisans from Van Cu village (Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province) known for their Pho-making skills, a discussion on “The path of Vietnamese Pho and its noodle,” a showcase of “The flavors of Vietnamese Pho,” and a practice on Pho preparation by artisans and famous Pho brands from across the country.
