The festival was held to pay tribute to Kings of the Le Dynasty and generals and people who contributed to the national construction and protection cause, while introducing the beauty of landscapes and people in the province, the values of the Lam Kinh special national relic site, as well as potential for tourism development to international and domestic visitors.

The three-day event features numerous activities such as incense offering ceremonies and wordship rituals at the Temple of King Le Thai To in Tho Xuan district, the Temple of Le Lai in Ngoc Lac district, and so on.

On the occasion, exhibitions highlighting the 10th anniversary of the recognition of Lam Kinh as the special national relic site will also be held.
