Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President of the VYF’s Central Committee Nguyen Kim Quy noted that the cultural house is the third of 16 houses being jointly constructed for ethnic groups across the country by the VYF’s Central Committee and Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank).

The Lo Lo people will gather here to improve their cultural and spiritual life and tighten their solidarity. This is also a place to collect, store, research, and promote the Lo Lo ethnic cultural heritage in line with boosting the local socio-economic development.

On this occasion, the VYF’s Central Committee handed over a computer room to Kim Cuc Primary School (Kim Cuc commune, Bao Lac district, Cao Bang province), worth VND 100 million, and presented 88 gifts, worth VND 250,000 each, to needy households in Coc Xa village, among others.

In addition, VND 80 million was also offered to family of needy student Ha Van Hoan to build a gratitude house. Meanwhile, the student will receive financial support until he is 18 years old with VND 500,000 per month.

The cultural house for the Lo Lo people in Coc Xa village, Hong Tri commune, Bao Lac district has six rooms, with the total height of 5.26 meters, covering an area of 156 square meters.
