Fireworks performance by the Australian team |
Portugal's Macedos Pirotecnia returned to Da Nang after winning the Most Creative Award at DIFF 2025, aiming to surpass its previous success. Built around the theme of "Vision," the performance portrayed light as a symbol of connection and a pathway to the future. Supported by nearly 90 years of experience, the performance reached an emotional climax before ending with brilliant titanium fireworks that illuminated the entire Han River waterfront.
While both teams demonstrated exceptional technical skill, they offered distinct interpretations of the evening's theme. Australia celebrated bold dreams and the spirit of breaking new ground, while Portugal highlighted artistic storytelling through light.

Beyond the fireworks, the event featured a lively music festival along the Han River. Vietnamese pop star Duc Phuc performed “Hon ca yeu” (More Than Love) and “Nguoi oi nguoi o dung ve” (Please Stay), alongside the Trung Vuong and MTE dance troupes, delivering a modern stage production that complemented the theme of "Vision."
The atmosphere continued to build with Lia Ngoc Nhung's performance of "Titanium," which conveyed resilience, determination, and the pursuit of new horizons. Additional performances, including "Abracadabra" and "Bandeira - Em - Festa," added youthful international energy, with the latter bringing football freestyle acts and a festive FIFA World Cup atmosphere to the stage.
