Sa Pa- an interesting tourism destination

PANO – Diversified activities are to take place on April 30, the nation’s Reunification Day, and May 1, International Labour Day, across the country.

Hanoi Opera House in the evenings on these two days will host a special art programme entitled “Con lai voi thoi gian” (Remaining with time) organised by Communication Joint-stock Company under Hanoi Financial Investment Co. (HAFI) in conjuction with Vietnam Light Song and Dance Theatre.

Well-known people’s artists and eminent ones, namely Tuong Vi, Thu Hien, Bich Viet, Trung Duc, Trung Kien, Tran Hieu, Quang Tho, Thanh Hoa, Thai Bao and Quang Hung, are to sing immortal songs.

The event is to broadcast live on Hanoi Voice and Television and to be recorded by Japan’s NHK to introduce to Japanese viewers.

CDs of this programme will be soon issued as Vietnam’s golden singer’s generation thanks to the public.

Also in Hanoi, jolly songs and Hawaiian dances, a bathing suit performance will entertain audiences at Ho Tay Water Park. Lots of new active games are to entertain people. Meanwhile, a Sa Pa Tourism and Culture Week, including traditional sports competition, folk games, Sa Pa love market evening, artistic photo exhibition will also take place in Sapa for the same celebration.

Vinpearl Land in Nha Trang coastal city, Khanh Hoa province is to host “the North’s Cultural Week” to entertain audiences with traditional cuisine, folk songs and traditional games.

Bach Ma (White Horse) National Park and Thua Thien-Hue Department of Culture-Sports-Tourism are to jointly organise the “2008 Bach Ma Impressive Festival” under the theme “Waving Holy Mountain”, bringing tourists eco and spiritual tourism as well as outdoor sports and cuisine of Vietnam. The event is to kick off the new tourism season and lay the foundation for Festival Hue 2008.

Ho Chi Minh City will host a photo exhibition entitled “Ho Chi Minh City Industry in the renewal process”, exchanges between successful persons who were born in 1975 when South Vietnam was liberated and Gia Dinh Regiment’s officers and soldiers. Also on this occasion, gifts will be presented to needy elderly at Thanh Loc Centre and many song and dance programmes will be held.
