During the visit to Busara, Sorencontum, and Obuonlo communes in Betchanda, Keosama and Conhet districts, the delegation exchanged information with local authorities and people and hoped that the hosts would create favorable conditions for Search Team K51 of the Dak Lak provincial Military Command to complete their mission of gathering the remains of Vietnamese voluntary troops and advisers who sacrificed their lives while doing international service in Cambodia in the past.

Presenting gifts to people in Obuonlo commune of Conhet district

On the occasion, the delegation talked about Vietnam’s preferential policies for those who provide information related to the places where fallen Vietnamese troops and advisers were resting in peace and instructed them on how to identify these places.

As part of the visit, the delegation presented 300 gifts totally worth VND 90 million, including rice and other necessities, to people in Obuonlo commune of Conhet district. They also gave financial assistance to five local needy families to repair their houses and provided free health checkups, medicines and health counseling to 1,450 local people.

The delegation also checked the construction process and quality of the barracks of Company 2 of Mondulkiri provincial Military Sub-Region. The barracks were built at the cost of VND 1.5 billion from the Dak Lak provincial budget.
