Vietnamese, Cambodian units agree to boost cooperation
PANO – The Ho Chi Minh City’s Military Command and the 1st Intervention Brigade of the Royal Cambodian Army of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces have signed a cooperation agreement in the 2019-2020 period.
At the meeting, in Kampong Chhnang province, Cambodia, the two sides discussed and reached a consensus on measures to further expand their cooperation, particularly in regular information sharing, delegation exchanges, and joint programs to ensure each side’s social order and political security.
In addition, they will actively carry out voluntarly projects, organize health check-up activities, join search and rescue missions, and conduct artistic and sports events.
The cooperation agreement is expected to continue to promote the cooperative relations between Military Region 7’s armed forces and the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces in particular and between the two militaries in general.
On this occasion, the HCM City’s Military Command and the city’s People Hospital 115 offered free health check-ups, medicines, and gifts to over 300 needy Cambodian families.
