At the event, delegates, youths from Ho Chi Minh City, and Lao students reminisced about the traditions of solidarity and brotherhood between the two nations which was cultivated during years of resistance against foreign invaders. Thanks to the unity of the two militaries and peoples, both countries achieved resounding victories against colonial and imperial forces, regaining independence and freedom.

Gifts presented to outstanding Lao students

During the program, participants enjoyed special performances by Lao students and youths from Xuan Hoa ward. As part of the event, a lively “Vietnam - Laos Friendship” run was held, drawing over 400 runners who were Lao students, officials, Youth Union members, and residents of Xuan Hoa ward.

On this occasion, the organizers presented gifts to outstanding Lao students and launched a fundraising campaign to support flood-affected communities. The Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Hoa ward signed an agreement with May May Trading Service Co., Ltd. to implement a “Price stabilization stall” program for Fatherland Front members and residents, supporting social welfare activities in the area.
