Sivixay Thammalangsy, a retired resident of Vientiane, shared that she was moved by how Vietnamese artists performed songs about Laos, calling them sincere and emotional. For her, each act felt like a cherished gift to the Lao people. She hoped for closer solidarity between Laos and Vietnam.

Meanwhile, Bouppha Onemani, a veteran, was deeply touched as songs honoring Laos - Vietnam solidarity brought back memories of difficult years when Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and Lao revolutionaries lived and fought side by side. “Looking at the magnificent stage and hearing those familiar melodies, I felt as if I had returned to my youth when we, together with the Vietnamese volunteer soldiers, fought for freedom and the future of both nations,” she said. For her, the show was not only artistic but also a reminder of a bond forged through sacrifice.
