PANO – The Ministry of Information of Communications presented the Naval Academy under the Naval High Command over 100 documents and maps, asserting Vietnam's sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes, in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, on May 5th.

It was to start an array of activities under the program “Toward beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa 2015”, launched by the ministry and Naval High Command between May 5th and 15th.

These items are part of a collection of historical documents founded in Vietnam and abroad with full legal and historical evidence validating the country’s sovereignty over the two groups of islands.

Previously, the documents and maps had been displayed in nearly 30 events across the country, contributing to mobilizing local people to take part in protecting national seas and islands.
