Loc Thanh Mountain pass is located about 12 km south of Bao Loc City center. From the city, visitors move along Road 55 in the direction of Binh Thuan. After reaching the junction at Loc Thanh B Primary School, visitors turn right and go straight for about 3.5 km to get to the mountain pass.

Pham Kim Nhan (27 years old, from Da Lat) is one of the cloud hunters. He is also the author of many beautiful photos of clouds in Sa Pa and Da Lat. Nhan said, "I happened to know this new cloud hunting spot in Lam Dong through a friend and was impressed, so I got up early and travelled to capture the best images."

The road to the mountain pass in the early morning is covered with thick layers of fog. There are few street lights, some steep slopes, and a lot of mud, so Nhan warned visitors should travel by underbone vehicles and good at driving.

"To hunt clouds, you must be at the pass before dawn. In this season, Bao Loc's weather is beautiful, so it is easy to get cloudy. If it doesn’t rain or have low pressure or storms, the rate of capturing clouds will be very high," Nhan said.

The population here is very sparse, and there are no shops or services. Nhan recommends that everyone should dress warm and bring food and water to protect themselves.
