Saigon Railway starts new promotion for online passengers

On the occasion of the Vietnam Railway Foundation’s Day (October 21st), the Saigon Railway Station will offer a 50-90 per cent discount on fares for passengers booking tickets at its website and paying at offices and ATMs of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) from October 10th.
The promotional program will be for routes of Saigon-Hue-Saigon (SH1, SH2), Saigon-Quy Nhon-Saigon (SQN1, SQN2), Saigon-Nha Trang-Saigon (SNT1, SNT2) and Saigon-Phan Thiet-Saigon (SPT1, SPT2).
Accordingly, passengers can buy promotional tickets between 8am and 2pm on October 10th for the routes with departures from October 15th to December 31st. They will pay fares at VietinBank’s offices and ATMs within 24 hours after booking online tickets successfully and bringing ticket notes to local stations and dealers (from Da Nang to Saigon) to get their tickets within 24 hours.
For SNT1, SNT2, SQN1, SQN2, SPT1, SPT2 trains, passengers can use vouchers to board trains without changing tickets.
The discount tickets will be available randomly at www.vetau.com.vn. Each passenger can book four seats, including return tickets.
