The conference pointed out that to attract more international tourists to Vietnam, specific and long-term solutions should be implemented. Particularly, it is necessary to focus on promoting Vietnam’s tourism in key and potential markets and introducing promotional packages to markets with positive feedback of airlines and businesses, which operate direct flights and provide travel services to those markets.

In addition, delegates to the conference also agreed that the localities should restructure tourism markets, overcome the remaining shortcomings, and hammer out specific solutions to lure more international visitors.
