With the experience and support of Japan, this annual program aims to raise people's awareness of traffic safety and accident prevention, he noted.
The event, organized for the third consecutive year, is an activity to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations.
During the 2017-2018 academic year, the “Doraemon with traffic safety in Vietnam” program was held with 26 extra-curriculum classes on traffic safety.
Nearly 30,000 road safety handbooks and badges were presented to students at primary schools in 13 cities and provinces nationwide.
This year’s program themed “Wearing Helmets,,” aims to raise people self-consciousness of wearing helmets while riding motorbikes and electric bikes. The program is also an effective format to raise children's awareness of obeying traffic law and encourage them to have more initiatives and good slogans to contribute to building a traffic culture.
