Seminar discusses educational development plan
PANO - An international seminar to discuss a strategic educational development plan was held on July 4 in Hanoi.
The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, and the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO, drawing the participation of over 150 delegates, including leaders, policy makers, experts, educators, and representatives from educational institutions at home and abroad.
During three official sessions, participants assessed the real situation of Vietnam’s education sector in the current context. They also shared views on the trend of educational development and practical lessons to build and implement educational development strategies convertible and comparable to those applied in developed countries worldwide. Delegates at the seminar also made suggestions on strategies for the development of the Vietnamese education sector.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc hoped that the opinions voiced at the seminar would help Vietnam build effective, practical and useful strategies.
