President Ho Chi Minh statue inaugurated in Da Nang library
A statue of President Ho Chi Minh was inaugurated at the Da Nang Library campus in the central city of Da Nang.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang highlighted the statue's profound political and cultural significance, saying that the work demonstrates the affection, gratitude and respect of the city's Party Organisation, authorities and people for the nation's great leader.

It will be a unique cultural address, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism, arousing the spirit of learning, promoting the reading movement and developing a reading culture in the community, especially the young generation.
Located in the heart of an area of over 3,000 sq.m, the statue is sculpted from white marble, depicting the image of Uncle Ho sitting and reading a book. Behind the statue is a relief depicting the image of Khue Van Cac - a symbol of wisdom and the tradition of learning in Vietnam. On both sides are images of Ngu Hanh Son landscape - a prominent cultural and historical symbol of Da Nang.
The statue project, which had a total investment of more than 14.7 billion VND (557,700 USD), was completed on August 20, seeing as an activity to welcome the 23rd Congress of the Da Nang City Party Organisation, term 2025-2030; towards the 14th National Party Congress and the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2025).
