National Physics Olympiad contest for students concludes
PANO – The 20th National Physics Olympiad for students wrapped up on April 23 at Tan Trao University, Tuyen Quang province.
The competition drew the participation of more than 500 lecturers and students from 44 universities and colleges nationwide competing in three categories: namely theoretical, practical and multiple-choice tests.

After three days competing, the Hanoi University of Science and Technology bagged a special prize for their best achievement at the competition. The organizing panel also presented the first, second, third prizes for winning students and teams.
The annual competition aimed to promote and improve the quality of teaching and learning physics at tertiary schools; to find out young talents in physics at universities and colleges nationwide; as well as help physics lovers have a chance to exchange their passion.
The next Olympiad in 2018 is expected to be held at the Dong Nai University.
