More than 1,500 youths join hands to protect environment
PANO - The Standing Committee of the Quang Binh provincial Youth Union has organized environmental protection events, attracting the participation of more than 1,500 Youth Union members, students, and young people.
On April 19 and 20 in Dong Hoi city, youths from different units collected rubbish along Nhat Le, Bao Ninh beaches and the coastal roads. They targeted areas known for waste accumulation and collected a total of 4 tons of garbage.

With the vanguard and volunteer spirit, youths actively gathered waste, cleaned up polluted coastal areas, removed illegal advertisements, and conducted general clean-up campaigns in public spaces. They also cleaned areas along beaches, historical sites, tourist spots, and scenic landscapes.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Quang Binh provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation of the province presented gifts to encourage participating units.
