The program, conducted between 2021 and 2023, was a collaborative effort between the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage Co., Ltd. Over the past three years, the program has planted 191,000 trees in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Thuan, and Binh Dinh provinces. These localities frequently face harsh weather conditions such as droughts, storms, and floods. Additionally, 6,500 trees have been planted in Ho Chi Minh City and Long An province.

Alongside afforestation, the forest protection and development work has been regularly carried out in coordination with forest management boards, forest ranger forces, and local communities by the program organizers.

The program has been evaluated as an effective and sustainable model with diverse and innovative implementation methods. It has significantly contributed to enhancing the awareness of Youth Union members, youngsters, and citizens regarding the role of forests, forest and water protection, environmental protection, and adaptation to climate change.

During the event, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union awarded prizes for the "Living Green Together" challenge program. Participating project teams presented innovative green ideas with the collective aim of environmental protection. Winning ideas and projects will have the opportunity for implementation, actively contributing to environmental protection efforts in various localities.
