Vietnamese primary school children are taking part in a competition, themed “Festival-Discover Science with Skycare”, launched by the Department of Primary Education, under the Ministry of Education and Training and Unet Cooperation.
The competition, which lasts from September 20th to December 30th, aims to create an interesting playground for children and to find the most excellent children for the World Science Festival in the UK.
During the competition, children will have an opportunity to show their talents and their understanding about the surrounding world, to meet and to exchange scientific knowledge with children nationwide and worldwide and to affirm the intelligence of Vietnamese children.
Accordingly, participants, all Vietnamese primary pupils and foreign primary school children, who are living and studying in Vietnam, will enter two rounds of contest: drawing or gluing picture and an Q and A test. Entries can be sent to the address: Le Quoc Dat, Unet Cooperation, Room 2002, the 20th floor, M3-M4 building, 91 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Dong Da District, Hanoi.
The organising panel will present five first, ten second and 25 third prizes to the most outstanding children. The three best children will have opportunity to participate in the world annual Science Festival in the UK in April 2012.
