Fifty five outstanding youths honored

The ceremony was in the framework of the eighth “Ho Chi Minh City’s youths following Uncle Ho’s teachings” Congress in 2024, in celebration of the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2024).

After three years of implementing Conclusion No.1 on carrying out Directive No.05 of the Politburo, the city’s youths have trained and promoted their values to contribute to the country and the community with more than 18,500 youth projects.

During the ceremony, the the municipal Youth Union chapter awarded certificates of merit to 55 outstanding youths and handed over the certificate “Ho Chi Minh City’s youths following Uncle Ho’s teachings” in 2024 to 263 delegates.

In the framework of the congress, delegates offered incense when reporting their achievements to President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Museum and joined the forum “Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space.”

The the city’s Youth Union chapter also took the occasion to plant a Square Malabar Almond tree given by the officers and soldiers of Truong Sa island district at its headquarters.
