The mission provides health check-ups and medicines for Hoa Son villagers in Ta Ca commune.

The program, attracting 25 cadres, doctors and nurses of the hospital, aimed to take care of the health of some 1,500 local people after the flood.

In Ky Son district, the mission provided health check-ups and medicines for local people at five places, which were Muong Xen townlet’s health station, Hoa Son, Son Ha, Cau Tam villages, and Ta Ca commune’s health station. 

According to Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Tu from Nghe An General Friendship Hospital, who directly examined health of Hoa Son villagers in Ta Ca commune, most of local people were suffering from respiratory diseases, intestinal infections and skin diseases.

The medical staff kindly instruct local people on how to use the medicine with the right dose.

Apart from being taken care of their health, local people have been receiving support from local armed forces. Along with 110 officers and soldiers tasked with helping local people, the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command has mobilized military medical staff at border posts stationed along the borderline in Ky Son district to disinfect local environment.
