From August 24 evening to August 25 night, moderate to heavy rain is forecast to continue, with rainfall of 30-80 mm.

Prolonged heavy rain is likely to flood crop-growing areas and residential neighborhoods and disrupt traffic. There is also a high risk of flash floods and landslides in Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam and Yen The communes.

Meanwhile, on August 22 morning, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee Do Tam Hien inspected flood damage and ongoing recovery efforts in Dak Long border commune.

Many areas in western Quang Ngai communes are still experiencing rain. Heavy rainfall is gradually saturating the soil, increasing landslide risk. Residents are urged to monitor warnings closely and follow authorities’ recommendations to prevent possible losses and damage.
