Locals in Huong Phong commune receiving gifts from the delegation

In Thua Thien-Hue, the working delegation of the Vietnam Young Physicians’ Association offered free medicines, health checkups, and gifts to 500 people in the flood-hit communes of Huong Phong and Phong Chuong.

In addition, the medical delegation handed over 20 water filters and over 100 lifebuoys to the People’s Committees of the two communes.

They also gave 2 water filters to two primary schools and presented VND 10 million and other gifts to their students.

The working delegation visited and offered gifts, worth VND 5 million each, and water filters to 2 storm- affected families.

In Quang Tri, the delegation provided free health check-ups for over 1,000 local people at a medical station in Huong Loc commune, Huong Hoa district.

They also visited and presented gifts to over 1,000 local people and policy families.

Moreover, the working delegation handed over 2 water filters to a primary school in Huong Loc commune as well as gifts and other necessities to the local students.

In Quang Binh, the delegation of the Vietnam Physicians’ Association offered free health check-ups to over 1,000 people in the communes of Hoa Thuy and Van Ninh in Le Thuy and Quang Ninh districts, respectively.

They presented 1,000 gifts, water filters, necessities and 1,000 life jackets to local people and children as well as visited policy families and two primary schools in the communes.

The delegation also handed a motorboat to the rescue force of the Quang Ninh district People Committee.

Along with the “Joining hands to prevent and combat COVID-19 pandemic” program, the Vietnam Physicians’ Association and C.P Vietnam Breeding Joint Stock Company gave medical masks to the Hue Central Hospital, Quang Nam General Hospital, Quang Tri General Hospital, and people and students in these three provinces.

Meanwhile, the Fund for Cancer Patients – Bright Future also presented the above hospitals VND 50 million each.
