Launched in July and lasts to December 2016, the contest received nearly 1,557 entries from groups and individuals across the country. Most of the entries focused on activities of the HCYU at all level; young people’s participation in maintaining traffic order; introducing excellent models and innovations of organizations and associations; conducting efficient initiatives and solutions to reducing traffic jams; and honoring outstanding individuals with contributions to traffic culture.

The organizing panel chose 11 excellent entries and granted the first prize, worth VND 20 million, to Nguyen Quyet Thang from Kon Tum with his work “An application for learning traffic law at school with Google Maps.” Two second, three third and five consolation prizes as well as the HCYU’s certificates were also offered to other photos with educational features.

According to Nguyen Phi Long, the HCYU Secretary and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation, the contest aimed to bring into play the HCYU and young people’s role in dissemination activities to ensure traffic order and promote traffic culture among youths.
