PANO - The Monsoon Music Festival 2016 will start on October 21 at the Thang Long Royal Citadel, the festival’s organzing board announced at a press briefing on August 15 in Hanoi.
Themed “traffic culture”, the festival will help build up a brand name and product of public culture for the Capital City of Hanoi and raise public awareness of obeying traffic law as well.

During the three-day event, more than 100 invited singers and music bands from Vietnam and other countries such as the UK, the US, Denmark, France, Sweden, Germany, the Republic of Korea, Japan and South Africa will perform a diversity of music genres, contributing to the orientation of audience’s musical aesthetics. Especially, renowned German rock band Scorpions will participate in this event.
According to musician Quoc Trung, the festival’s music director, singers My Linh and Tung Duong and bands Anh Em (Brothers) and PB Nation will be Vietnamese representatives.
